CVAS Scheduled Events



		Coming Events Business meetings of the society are held on the 1st Tuesday of each month in the Elliott Classroom of the Hobbs Observatory at 7:30 P.M. Public programs on various astronomical topics are presented at Hobbs Observatory on the third Saturday of each month (except December) at 8:00 P.M. Programs are hosted by the Chippewa Valley Astronomical Society (C.V.A.S.), and are free of charge and last approximately 45 - 60 minutes. If skies are clear and temperatures permit, the observatory will be open for viewing after the program. Public observing sessions are held every CLEAR Saturday evening, May through October May - starting at 9:00 P.M. June - starting at 10:00 P.M. July - starting at 10:00 P.M. August - starting at 9:00 P.M. September - starting at 9:00 P.M. October - starting at 8:00 P.M.
